We had to return the truck to Wichita, Kansas as I was going home for Thanksgiving (which I had not done in years now because… reasons).

My brother and his wife and three daughters were all home, too, and they welcomed me home with a very warm and loving embrace.

They laughed and laughed as I told them all these crazy stories I’m telling you now.

They thought it was horrifying, hilarious, and unbelievable all at the same time

Myself and Jared are there in the back.

“Uncle David,” said one of my totally based nieces, “you should write a book about all this.”

So I did.
